SUMMARY:Charleston Wine + Food: Shucked
DESCRIPTION:“This local fan-favorite highlights one of Charleston’s most cherished delicacies—oysters. Guests will have the chance to taste their way around the Lowcountry waters\, savoring bivalves shucked by the purveyors themselves. The event features a traditional oyster roast and showcases oysters prepared in a variety of ways—steamed\, raw\, on the half shell\, grilled\, and more—alongside other seafood-forward dishes. The wine will be flowing\, cocktails will be on ice\, and beers will be popped as you enjoy a tour of the local oyster varieties. It’s a shellebration you won’t want to miss!” \nFleet Landing is excited to be part of the celebration! Chef Andy will be on-site\, crafting a dish that highlights the incredible flavors of the Lowcountry’s freshest oysters. We’re honored to join this culinary showcase and can’t wait to share our love for oysters with you!

SUMMARY:Charleston Wine + Food Festival: Big Shrimpin'
DESCRIPTION:We are pretty “shellfish” about our seafood down here in the Lowcountry\, but we are willing to share at this crustacean celebration. Crack some crabs\, peel a few shrimp\, or try a crawfish at this shockingly fun shindig. Chefs will be showing off their best seafood dishes\, and ice-cold suds and bubs will be flowing with the Lowcountry waterways as the backdrop. What could be better? \nFleet Landing is thrilled to be part of the Big Shrimpin’ event! Chef Andy will be serving up a signature seafood dish that embodies the flavors of the Lowcountry. Join us for an unforgettable day of great food\, cold drinks\, and an incredible celebration of our beloved coastal cuisine. We can’t wait to see you there!

SUMMARY:Friends of Our Fish Guest Series
DESCRIPTION:Fleet Landing is introducing a quarterly Friends of our Fish series highlighting our local seafood partners\, giving each farmer/purveyor an opportunity to visit the restaurant and interact with guests at the Raw Bar (as well as tableside) to learn more about their product and impact on the local ecosystem. \nJoin us for the first installation in our series\, where we’ll be featuring Andrew Jones from Bird Island Oyster Company! \nBird Island Oyster Company\, established in 2023\, is the passion project of Lowcountry native\, Andrew Jones. Drawing from a deep-seated connection to the water\, Andrew has dedicated his life to cultivating distinctive oysters from the pristine waters of Bird Island. Prior to founding his own company\, he spent five years honing his skills as a harvester\, which laid the foundation for Bird Island Oyster Company’s commitment to sustainability and quality. The company’s oysters\, affectionately known as “Birds” are wild-grown and handpicked singles served on the half shell. Harvested from the Beaufort/Broad River area\, these oysters are celebrated for their marshy brine and unique flavor profile. Andrew’s dedication to sustainable practices ensures the health of his oyster beds\, reflecting his belief that each oyster tells a unique story of the waters they come from. It’s also what made him a perfect partner for Fleet Landing when we opened our Raw Bar in 2024! \nAndrew will be on site at Fleet Landing Thursday\, March 20th from 4-6pm to speak with guests about his beautiful oysters that are one of our staff favorites. Purchase a half-dozen Bird Island Oyster Company oysters ($20) and receive a complimentary of Lowtide Brewing Three Fleets to the Wind beer. Dressed oysters and all of our regular menu items will also be available.
